"EnviroNaut Trainer" programmes for Nautical Tourism
An innovative programm that enable trainers and instructors to train staff in the Nautical Tourism sub-sectors of Marinas, Sea Schools & Watersport Clubs, Skippers and Boat Maintenance Companies with the EnviroNaut course.
This also enables trainers to add this programme to their training portfolio or to introduce relevant elements of the EnviroNaut course into their existing training, all with the objective of Nautical Tourism staff to be trained in environmental skills and knowledge and to qualify as EnviroNauts.
Implementation and certification of
EnviroNaut qualification
It will align other training standards with the EnviroNaut standard by identifying knowledge and skills gaps of 20 existing training programmes in comparison to the syllabus of the EnviroNaut course and to develop methods and pathways with the respective stakeholders to close these knowledge gaps
The project will provide the certification and increased recognition of the EnviroNaut course in order to establish a standard and incentive for organisations, companies and workers to integrate the course into their training.
